June 24, 2009 Turkish police searched homes belonging to 37 people in 11 provinces as part of the investigation into the Ergenekon nationalist group, Dogan News Agency reported June 24. Among those searched was a retired National Intelligence Organization official, an officer in Isparta province, a reporter in Istanbul and two British nationals in Bursa province. Several documents were seized in the raid, and no one was arrested, according to police.
