Russia is finally capitalizing the errors made by the US in the last decade in the region. Russians have recognized that responding to an error by an error (Georgian affairs) does not pay; rather a cunning strategy applied by the current regime in the Kremlin will be a stronger position in the EURASIA' politics if they can pull the Turks closer for a mutual economic treaty as well as a strategic cooperation. This will also be cheaper than sending the hardly- moved Soviet Navy to the Central Americas. Haven't we seen the dramatic effect of a recent Kyrgizistan ejection? Indeed, it can be a revival of an old British nightmare( as mentioned in the article) if it actually happens. After all, they are the major reasons the region have suffered so much since the WWI. On the other hand, it will dramatically affect US, EU and the region. Particularly, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Poland and Israel. Ukraine and Georgia's NATO membership is not going to be equalized by the cancellation of the planned missile shield in Poland. As we all remember and puzzled, Russia introduced the Northern Cyprus' independence while the Kosova's independence talks were taking place. To create a bigger hole in the hall, then President Putin strongly blamed the West for having multiple standards. And most of the Turks were agreed.
